It might be overkill with over 50 chars, but that is the password that protects all my logins, thereby making it the most important.

I definitely agree a 50 char password (with the mentioned complexity) protects your account. No doubt about It.

What I meant by an overkill, Is that I can achieve the very same result ( as per my aforementioned post) with an 8 char password. Then you also have to take Into account that some websites have character limits on passwords. For example, Microsoft accounts are 16 chars, PayPal Is 20, AOL Is 16 and the list goes on.
