I only had one VM running at the time. I shall hit 4-5 simultaneous VMs and see how It performs.
I don't run any VM's on my workstation. I run them all on my VM server and use VMRC to interface them. That's all just chrome and VS

Keep in mind, size doesn't mean a whole lot when it comes to RAM. Pay attention to number of channels (the more the better), CAS timing (the lower the better), RAS timing (lower the better), bank cycle timing (awesome if it is less than CAS*3, and speed (1333 is basically the standard for DDR3, but most motherboards support up to 1866. Good boards will support up to 2400).
