Sorry. life isn't all about what your skills are and what you know. It's also about who you know.
I was stupid to think that skills and ability would get me everything I need.
Success is relative to other people; I'm not naive enough to believe otherwise.

No its not. You dont need connection to create somthing great. Maybe to get hired but other than that you could just do freelamce jobs and build up a portfolio. Dont seek great people become one.

Also you're right skills wont be enough, you need determination and compassion for what you're trying to achieve.
