Whether he likes It or not, harmful emissions are changing our environment. I haven't delved Into the research side of It, but If (and I reiterate "If")  years of research has been proven, his opinion Is Insignificant.

Research has been done on climate change, but the naysayers primarily stick to the excuses that either a) There's insufficient data to compare with pre-1950 years or b) It's "normal" for such a chaotic climate change difference. (It is "normal", but not to this severity) .

Issue with Trump is since he's now in a position of power he can use his ignorance as validation to do stupid acts like the above article and his previous statements of re-using coal power plants (Which cause almost double the CO²Kg/MWh).

As a European Scientist I find it a bit of disgrace when America was one of the first pioneers who spoke and introduced "Climate Change" and attempted to make it mainstream in 1965 & 1975, then they started taking steps backwards.
