Get a Lenovo with a nice IPS display for Graphics work.

You don't need anything super crazy if you're going to just be using Photoshop, but if you get into the more advanced stuff like Video Editing etc you're probably going to want something more powerful

School/Mixing also doesn't require anything that powerful. If I were you i'd save some money and go with a Windows Laptop with better specs than the macbook you would get for the same price.

it's interesting you say lenovo... they use literally identical hardware to most macs. The only difference is lenovo charges 4x as much as apple for an equally shitty laptop.

Difference being you can get a equally shitty Lenovo on Ebay with mac-like specs for pretty cheap

for some reason Apple fans have this idea that their macbook is 'retro' so they can raise the price when they re-sell it. I think it's harder to find a cheap macbook then it is a cheap lenovo

My current Laptop is a Lenovo X1 Carbon 3rd Gen Refurb I got on E-Bay for 400$. Got an I7 and everything, was an absolute steal

sure, the B key is a bit sticky, maybe the previous user had a bit too much fun on PornHub, and the screw on the bottom keeps coming loose, but idgaf i didn't have to sell my soul to a local supermarket to make enough money for it
