This is a good point. The Creative Lab at my old Uni had Mac rooms and PC rooms set up for media/arts etc so people could use them according to needs. Most video/animation work was done on Macs, and most other tasks were on PC (like personal and professional web development).

Yes there are pros and cons with Macs and Windows, and It's just a matter of looking at the overall picture and deciding which best suits your computing needs.

I know a lot of users who utilize a Mac and they will not even consider a Windows-based platform. There's no right or wrong, It either works for you or It doesn't.
