SL used to have an IRC and I hosted an IRC for the IDE usergroup not too long ago. I ran out of money to host it though and it's really no use because discord is better for this kind of stuff anyway

I'm pretty sure you can use VPN/and or TOR with discord. I don't see any reason why you can't, its certainly not explicitly disallowed.

Every time you log in it forces you to verify thru your email b/c of new sign in location.
