Torrents have been around for quite some time now, but have advanced so far that it won't go away anymore. They just can't block all torrenting (nothing is impossible though).
Luckily there are a lot of mirrors available.

Always be carefull though with mirrors. There has been a version of kickassunblock that used to scam credit card details from users (don't know who is stupid enough to put in their credit card details on a torrent site...).
