well there are a million ways to do the same thing.
for the way my mind works and how i like to do art, using a tablet and illustrator works the best.
its easier for me to draw instead of using my mouse.

True, but probably not as many ways to achieve the exact same result.

I always say "go with It until It stops working". In other words, there's no hard and fast rules. If It works for you, then be It as It may.
