I ended up jumping to Ubuntu mostly because my upcoming programming class the instructor uses Ubuntu, so i figured i should try to get used to it so far i like it, but i choose the option to dual boot along side of windows ten but its seemingly impossible to get back to windows

Ubuntu's not a bad first choice ( I mean, the colors make my eyes bleed, but that's OK)

Why is it impossible to get back to windows? Legit bootloader trouble or have you totally come to the Dark Side and never want to see that botnet again?

its a bootloader issue i think because at select OS it only shows ubuntu, i choose the option to boot along side of windows 10 so i would assume i should be able to switch back to windows 10 :/
EDIT: running some commands i found this Found Windows 10 (loader) on /dev/sda1
the command i ran was this:
sudo apt-get install os-prober
sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
being a linux noob i have no idea what that really did, i have an idea but this is what i found to do via google
Edit once again: That command actually fixed everything
