Have you done this yet or no?

I've made a few attempts, with each one I get a little further.  If you have any knowledge of assembly and want to contribute I would gladly accept the help.

Might I suggest a few resources you could look into. I find that with programming it becomes much easier once you understand things at the lowest levels. There aren't many lower than assembly (1:1 correlation).
