Years back when I was 11 or 12, I ended up screwing around with one of my friends and a go-kart just mudding because we could. We tried turning the stupid thing as hard as possible in the mud because dumb kids + go-kart = someone is going to get hurt, and that ended up happening. We flipped the thing over a few times, it ended up up-side down, and we decided "alright we better go flip this back upright". My friend got up just fine, just a little bruise, but when I tried to get up I felt this massive pain in my left arm and it was pinned down - it was one of the beams that makes up the "roof" of the darn thing, and it went straight through my arm, going in above my elbow and coming out about 1/3 of the way down my forearm. That took a good while and good few stitches to heal, and it hurt like crazy to move it for months - I've never felt anything else that came close to that in my life.
