The fact that nobody died at those speeds seems impressive. It actually made me wonder what kind of prep the ride designs and constructions go through to ensure people don't die upon derail.
I once was at a park in Spain where they had a wooden ride and when we reached the slow down at the peak, my friend goes "this would not pass health and safety in England"... The scream that escaped me on the decline was full of genuine fear.
