I would Suggest the following:

- Make the font color White.
- Make Things more bold and easier to read

Also, people like dark but other like bright, I personally like both but I prefer a brighter color like blue, white and a touch of grey or dark blue.

I get why people are asking for white. Actually, all white text hurts my eyes. I would recommend making the text a lighter grey. I believe it would also be different if the text was a bigger size. With the text being this small, it doesn't stand out quite so much from the background. I'd go lighter text not bigger text though. Just don't make it totally white. Then the text that is white on buttons etc won't be separate from standard thread text.
