Alright so now that we know

" x = 3/2 "

we can than sub "x" into the equation.

Code:
y = x + 2

it would be.

y = 3/2 + 2

Sense we have to add fractions we need to make 2 into a fraction, and sense 2 is equal to 2/1 we need to make the denominator of "1" into a 2 so we multiply the top and the bottom by "2" making it 4/2 so it becomes.

y = 3/2 + 4/2

Which than is.

y = 7/2

Bam.
