I tend to say the same thing but when I ran forums, spam was considered not to be relevant to the appropriate thread, so I didn't case it as spam. Unless they say exactly the same thing over and over, then that is spam.

So what if I go on like 20 threads and go

"Hi my name is Eago, welcome to the forum"
"Welcome to the forum man! Stay high quality!"
"Hey welcome! you seem cool!"

Just don't say the same thing over and over and your good, do not go on old threads though. Introduction threads are relevant for at least two days.
