Disable the "Windows Update Service". Go to the "Start Menu > Run", and type "services.msc" (no quotes). The Windows Services will then open. Scroll down until you see "Windows Update" and double-click It. Next to "Startup type", choose "disable" via the drop-down menu, then hit Stop.
Click Apply > OK, and your system will not perform any Windows Updates again.
