Yeah, that's pretty indisputable, even after taxes.
Although, now that I think about it, I might be worried if I owned that much money. My personal desire for money ends when I don't need anymore. Since I don't want kids, i'd divvy the money up to people I believe deserve it, leave a certain % for myself so i'll never need to work again (but i'd still do shit, since I personally hate being idle), and that'd be that. In that case, I might claim it immediately, so I wouldn't need to wait a year to be happily unemployed.
