Don't believe all the sites floating around the net that claim that you can Install the software remotely. It cannot be done.
I disagree. It is possible to Hijack the device when it's connected to the home WIFI. After hijacking the device you can upload a malicious .apk file to the phone and execute it. Than you could use a RAT for listening and intercepting messages from the phone.
It requires a lot of skill but I don't agree that it is impossible. You could even send a malicious file through bluetooth.
So @OP you can do this but it requires a lot of skill. It is illegal to hijack a phone or break into it. In any case, it's illegal.
