Isn't Mars too cold to have liquid water? I know completely pure water (eg laboratory water) has a much lower freezing temperature than normal earth H2O, but unless Mars somehow has magical water than can remain in liquid form despite the average temperature of -57*C (up to 133*C at night) I'd be a little bit skeptical of this. Also why can't we just work on staying on Earth for as long as we can rather than trying to make a new less suitable Earth on fucking Mars?

From the looks of the image it looks to be flowing under the ground and seeping into the soil, so possibly it could be that it's warm under the soil of Mars. Also it'd be wonderful if we could live here forever, but due to the Industrial Revolution and greedy corporations, and a clueless population that has no clue what they're doing to the environment, that just isn't possible.
