Its funny you talk about War Thunder, since I just installed it last night and I was playing around with it a little this morning. I did the training missions for tanker, fighter, and bomber; I even played a few multiplayer missions that were fun ... even if I did get creamed.

I would be interested in playing with you, but I just downloaded the client installer off the WT site, not through Steam. I wonder if there is any way to get my current installation working with Steam?

You can just re-download it through the steam client or add it as a non-steam game. Its easier if you want to play with friends, if you download it through steam. Thats what I ended up doing. I did the same thing prior.
