I've been poking around for the past two hours. I like the theme a lot, I have quite a bit of mybb experience so naturally, I already like the board. However, some sections seem dead. Would I be wrong for saying that?

As with every forum, there are categories and forums (sections as you call them) that aren't as active as others. It's simply the nature of forums as a whole.
