Hey there, i really want to start learning to code is PHP a good one to get under my belt?

While a lot, if not most websites run some sort of PHP script - start ups now are using Ruby on the Rails, node.js and Python(Django) to create websites that are quite popular. Python is used on a lot of major websites, like Google and Spotify. You can learn PHP if you just want to create simple scripts, mods for forums, etc. You obviously can make huge websites like Facebook, but take a look at other languages as well and see which one you like.
