It depends on what model of the QcK that you get. The one I have is pretty good. I've had it for a few years and it's held the test of time. The only problem that I have is that it is rather small now. Other than that, I would recommend it. That is just me though. Some people prefer smooth plastic mouse mats but those are just too slippery for me. The QcK offers a good balance between friction and slidiness for me. I know this guy that's in the top 1% in the works and he uses a smooth hard mouse mat.
