The one I tend to carry around is a 3-4 inch assisted opening tanto blade. I want to say it's a Gerber, but not entirely sure.

You got to be careful with Gerber products they seem to not care too much I mean don't get me wrong when they get a recall on there products they fix it but I think they only do that because it becomes a hazard and can cause Gerber to get sued if they didn't if it weren't for that they would probably be like oh well. They make the product, they sell the product but the thing is they don't truly stand behind the product there goal is to just get it out and make the money.

They have bad reputation all over. I actually have there BG Compact Parang even though It looks strong, feels strong and looks like it will hold out I simply do not trust it. But the way I see it since I got it I might as well use it.
