This was one of the problems I remember having as former staff member - false reports, because someone was offended, took a response to seriously, or was just trolling. I'm pretty sure at least one or more of the reported posts was on account of "being a nigger", "stupid", or "ban pls", with no context whatsoever. This made it increasingly difficult to ascertain whether it was an actual report or not, as well as piling up over the real ones....

Thx for sharing your experience with this @MiS. That is certainly one of the things I have a bit of a concern about, and I have no issue stating in this thread that if I start fielding a bunch of false reports, I will be taking appropriate action against the false reporter. Keep in mind that we as mods can see who has reported a post.

Like I said before, the report system is a very useful tool for reporting blatant ToS violations and spam, don't abuse this system and make more work for us.
