Thank for sharing this information. I never knew you could hide your signal by lowering the transmission power. The mac filtering, i heard about it, but i never tried it dam thing was complicated.

MAC Filtering is useless now days because you can simply by pass it if you know the MAC of the PC that's on the NETWORK, replacing your own MAC with that of the other PC will grant you instant access.. Not recommended though but it's worth mentioning because can be useful some times in a home network
