What i meant was that someone who's good in maths will
probably learn more easily how to program than people who are not
good in maths

imho maybe but its is necessary to apply the concepts properly. For example when you solve project euler problems you will understand that applying the correct math in the correct program is quite tricky or maybe its better to say that its confusing. Maybe instead of getting it optimized that math may cause performance issues so both are equally important applying math and applying math with logic (Just as you said earlier)
