The US government should, and will, not be returning USD, because that is not what account holders at LR owned. If you'd like they could( they won't actually because it's not legal and is part of seized assets ) give you LR back, but it would be worthless since there's no exchange now.
Good explanation. It's a shame because I know of several webhosts that accepted Liberty Reserve as payment. Not sure if anybody read the indictment, but the story itself is interesting. I think it's ridiculous Costa Rican authorities didn't give them permission to run the business, although it is equally ridiculous they lied to Costa Rican authorities and continued running their business there. The imbeciles could have easily moved to a less-developed nation and ran it there.
