Ohhhhhhhhh. herp-derp xD I love all of these easy-root/jailbreak ideas. All started with Blackra1n back in the days of iPhone OS 3. Anyone else remember those times?

I haven't seen the words "herp-derp" used in a complete sentence since...damn...a longtime.
Meanwhile, anybody care to catch me up as to exactly where we actually are with-in the thread?
Thus far I've gathered, in short form, "the APK file is not an actual Exe. file, which is common knowledge to the best of my remembrance...", thus concluding, as also is logical, that it is downloaded to a PC --or Linux laptop in my case-- where it can then be used for installing to the Android mobile in question for Rooting.

Edit: Gee, gosh, golly, I just re-read the entire thread and in conclusion, I conclude LightX & Perplexdd to be correct.
