Why do people deface completely random sites? They never did anything to you so why harm them? I can understand backdooring them or using the sites as a foothold for your shell but actually defacing the site is not cool. Do you have any reasoning behind defacing random sites?

Most people that do it mean to get hype out of it. To become known. They stack their ammunition up, and post their shitty defaces on zone-h,twitter,facebook ect..
