How will the world end?

My prediction is there will be a desperate scramble for resources as countries become overcrowded with citizens. Countries will attack each other for resources, and the use of nuclear weapons will get out of hand. Leaders will still be worried about their image and the extent of their powers, doing nothing smart or useful to delay the inevitable end of mankind. Governments and worldwide organizations will collapse and our civilizations will turn into filthy hordes, trying to survive. That's what we were bred to do anyway; maybe the end will be for the better. I sit and wonder if I will be there to see the end.
