Old post I know, but this and what you describing sounds like one of my favorite books the "Hagakure" by Yamamoto Ysunemoto. Excellent book, if you like The Power of Now you might like this one. Then again I might be wrong Smile. Hagakure is one of those books that i have inculcated in my life.
