I doubt it will be soon, but it wouldn't surprise me that China would be the new world leader if it were. They have such a massive population that they could just force a large portion of them into slavery to create weapons for the war, and it'd just mean and endless supply for weaponry. Also if they wanted they could chose to put children into the war (even though it would be a terrible thing to do).
