So basically what you're saying is, use this thing that has a bunch of open source crypto implemented in it, and yet the source code for the thing itself is nowhere to be found. That's a wonderful idea. Why not just do this?:

I swear if anyone says anything about the recent OpenSSL vulns, which btw don't apply to the command line tool in this context, I will strangle you.
The vulns are only in the OpenSSL implementation of TLS, not its implementation of individual crypto algorithms.
