There's nothing wrong with trusting what you believe is safe. However, you shouldn't push on the idea that what you think is safe, will be for others.

On the offhand, why do you refuse to accept the words stated on the site that literally says WARNING: Using TrueCrypt is not secure as it may contain unfixed security issue? Yes, it may have been working for years, but all things become unstable and break over time.

Saying it is unstable is overdoing it dear @MiS. However, it has unfixed issues with security, which makes it vulnerable @Size. However, surely it is better than nothing.
