Hygiene

- Wash your hands as soon as possible after handling money. It's one of the most common contaminants that can get transferred around, and you have no idea how many less-than-healthy people might have handled it before you.

- Keep a handkerchief on your person. Not only will you look slightly more sophisticated, it's a godsend for coughing, wiping your nose, or cleaning something out of your eye.

- Don't cough or sneeze into your hands, for obvious reasons. Instead, cover your mouth with your arm when possible.

- Clean your nails (i.e. spotless underneath) and keep them shortened to a decently sized length. People will notice if they're unkempt even if they don't say anything, and all that dirt and bacteria will get into your foods if you touch them with your fingers at all.

- In case you don't already do this, washing your face before going to bed and first thing in the morning will help greatly with keeping a clean face and more importantly, prevent pimples.
