I'm still not understanding what you mean by "it's sad". What exactly do you see in the negativity of them? There was even an official commercial showcasing the Toyota Corolla and Hatsune Miku together, which in my opinion, shows how popular Vocaloid is becoming. To me, it's no different than a personified program... which it is. Also to note is that Vocaloid isn't limited to the personifications, but it originally started out as a regular voice synthesizer program. Remember that what's popular in one area of the world won't necessarily be given the same reception in another part, so I highly doubt that they'll become "the face of music".

The program is applicable to do all kinds of music, but this seems like a personal preference, so I'll respect your opinion.

• 0x02 - The characters are poorly made and drawn. If it was Monkey D Luffy It would be better (for instance)
  

I'll beg to differ on this since I believe they're well-drawn have their own unique-given personalities, but this also seems like a personal taste, so yeah.
