I'm partial to C#, but I think you could benefit from any of these. Seeing as you've used JavaScript, you'll find the syntax extremely similar in C#, C++ and Java. I would work with C# due to the versatility (Desktop apps, XNA for games, ASP.NET for webapps) and similarity to JavaScript.

I've heard C# is based off VB.Net - Which if I'm correct, is exclusive to windows, and I'm on a mac. I've also heard C# Is much easier too, but that C++ is much more powerful.
