She travels cross-country with her pretty dysfunctional family which includes suicidal uncle(Steve Carell), anti-social brother(Paul Dano) that refuses to talk and grandfather(Alan Arkin) that's supportive but is addicted to heroin.
The family goes through a lot of ups and downs throughout the long drive.
And end up growing as a family and finding out new things about each other.
