I won't lie, I laughed at that quite a bit.

He pays out of his back-pocket like a said. That's why it bugs me when people complain about the site sometimes. They seem to forget he runs it just to run it and is not gaining anything back. He's providing a service without getting paid and people forget that sometimes. If he wants to make a decision about something that not everyone agrees to, he has every right, no-one else is paying for it (apart from those few donators).
