I can see what you're saying, but I have to question that they will always technically be male. You may be right, but at the same time I feel that it's debatable. First off, what truly defines gender? This is something people could argue over forever. Secondly, the same material that makes a penis, makes a vagina. The genetic code in an individual (which can be shaped, altered, manipulated, "screwed-up" by a variety of factors) tells how that material is to be shaped. From what I understand being transgender or in this case transexual is actually more like a mutation (& no I'm not trying to call transgender/transexual people mutants or anything like that). Other than the shape/form of genetalia the only other physical factor is body chemistry. This can easily be adjusted via hormone therapy. Skin thickness & texture, body hair, body scents, etc all become altered over time. There are several "genetic women" (as some would say) who do not have ovaries, and have to go through hormone therapy to maintain a healthy hormone balance for several reasons. Anything that I haven't covered just seems to be too trivial to bother going into. For all intents & purposes a transexual female is female, both physically & mentally. Same goes for transexual males. Sorry for going on & on but I felt some people here really could use some education in this area, and I'm really into civil rights so it can be a sensitive subject for me. I was thinking along the lines of genetics. For example, in some cases males can develop naturally large muscles with little effort... However, you have a damn good point. So I'm going to retract that thought xD You're right, physically and mentally they are female. I've heard a lot about a few processes for "the op". Makes me glad I was born female though xD
