Although i understand the reason you were shocked and why you would want to avoid meeting her/him again, i don't really think you should avoid your usual bar because of it. And just like Lux I think you should just go that place and maybe give a warning to the others just in case, and when you bump into him/her, maybe apologize. You never know a persons story and maybe if things aren't that weird you might get an awesome new friend.
