Its called cracked....
As for OP:
Windows will NEVER simply "go down", it will always be the most used type of computer, Linux is only used by people who actually know their way around a computer.
It is not cracked, I downloaded it from Microsoft. As for your second statement, that is debatable. My aunt, who has never used a computer, has received a refurbished, by me, lap-top. I installed Linux on it, and have been training her to use it. She is defiantly not a person who knows anything about computers.
1st, I was talking to Johnny xD
2nd, Ok, thats one person, what about the millions of people simply clicking and typing letters on a window machine to go to facebook? Thats what majority of internet users use the internet for, socializing.
Ohh, sorry. Still, people could get Linux and use that for socializing.

This is how I see it,
As said before, Windows won't imply "go down," it's just a matter of who uses what.
Linux distributions are TYPICALLY for web servers, and stuff like that.
Windows is the most common home OS, but Mac is coming up as well as a very common home OS.
When I say Windows is for home computers, don't get me wrong, I know there are tons of people who use Linux as a main OS, I'm just saying that typically, it will be Windows. I have never seen anything for Linux in Walmart or best buy.
Ok, that's a lie, I have seen stuff that does support linux, but the product is typically leaning to the Windows side of the competition.
I'm getting the feeling your taking "training" the wrong way. I would still have to train her in Windows If I would have bought that for her. As for your others points, I'm only reading a failure to open one's eyes and see the revolution, the downfall of Windows!

Exactly, so why pay for Windows?
