Personally, I hate Windows. Mainly because they're not open-source and like to charge big money for their product. They've been able to get away with this for a long time, but now with Linux growing ever more popular, do you think they'll last? I've been a happy Linux user for quite some time. The distro I use has a GUI that's better then Window's, and the performance is vastly better. The only reason I haven't completely switched is gaming support. What I have read from other gamers is the same thing. Now that Steam is finally showing support for Linux, do you think Windows will last?

Yes. Windows is what big corporations use. Hardly Linux.
