If it is latancy-lag you're having then thats because microsoft desided to ruin skype by not letting people recieve messages from people they dont have on their friendslist which means they have to run trough someone on your friends list before you get the message, and since everyone in the chat has to recieve the messages generally from the same people it causes a little bit of lag and it may take a while for the messages to get to everyone which is a huge problem for large skype chats like this one.
