On the contrary, computer science has everything to do with offensive security. You need to understand basic programming, and then data structures, before you can do an sqli or create a buffer overflow. (Or at least you should). Going further, you need to understand network architecture to craft Chernobyl packets, software design to recognize an unsanitized input, and security models to successfully bypass DEP.
Tl;dr, hacking is just abusing computer science.
