I do too. I think she should have warned you before hand. However, imagine you really like someone when you're transgender. How do you just drop that in a conversation? How do you say it when you know the person you're really into is just going to ditch you as soon as you mention it? :/

If you're born a girl, you'll always be a girl and vice versa.

But yes, it's difficult to bring that subject up. I think the best thing to do when you found out was to calmly tell the person you aren't interested in transgenders and you apologize and leave. But I realize you were in shock, and rightfully so.
