I know basic admin configurations, but I need the knowledge of how to protect it from ddos (e.g. installing, removing an attack), paying for host (how to setup hosting, and pay for it), how to install plugins and use them.

DDoS protection isn't just as simple as installing a PHP script and clicking a block attack button. I highly suggest looking into various DDoS protection methods, and creating your own personal system to get as much control and stability as possible. I'd recommend looking into a nice dedicated server plus colocation in a quality datacenter. If money is too tight for this, grab yourself some dedicated hosting. If money is too tight for this as well, grab a pretty good VPS. Plugin/theme installation is simple. It's security and SEO that's such a pain in the ass.
