What's the main use as to why people would need an email miner? (Im generally curious)

I would say that a miner is better than an email generator. It can be used, for example, when you need a large number of email addresses.
A mined email has a higher probability of being an active email than a generated one that needs to be verified.

This is completely useless as most email services/providers have firewalls that prevent this.
